The role of Operational Technology Infrastructure Engineer covers a wide range of disciplines, and we are looking for ambitious individuals from the world of OT and IT. Some of the responsibilities are listed below and are supported through a training and development programme as we continue to develop a multi-skilled team.
Along with a competitive salary of between £53,711 - £73,451 we also offer great benefits such as:

Candidates will be required to have lawfully resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years to support security clearance processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain our Operational Technology infrastructure including VMWare vSphere, Microsoft and Unix based platforms. • Implement and maintain security tooling such as firewalls, AV, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning. • Support the OT Incident and Change process. • Support system testing for new releases and assist projects with testing standards. • Represent OT on infrastructure related projects. • Implementation of software releases, patches and service packs.Key Competencies
• Ability to work under pressure and manage third party support staff and contractors. • Knowledge of Microsoft and Unix based systems. • Knowledge of network communications including Firewalls, Switches and Routers. • Knowledge of VMWare vSphere products. • Take ownership of problems and maintain service levels for high profile and critical control systems. • Demonstrate effective communication skills at all levels of the business. • Highly Motivated and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to focus on and work methodically through problems until the root cause is understood.Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum HNC / Level 4 qualification in information systems or similar• Full UK Driving License• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an OT or IT infrastructure support role at 2nd/3rd Line level, including support of VMWare vSphere, Microsoft and RHEL• Firewall configuration• Cyber Security toolingDesirable Qualifications and Experience
• ITIL v4• Level 6 qualification / Degree (or working towards) in Information Systems or similar• Service Now• Risk Management• Experience working in OT or highly regulated environments
