Oracle Test Manager - Fixed Term Contract

We're looking for an experienced Oracle Test Manager on a fixed-term contract basis to join GXO's Finance Transformation Programme. In this role, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end testing lifecycle across major business and technology change initiatives, ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest quality standards and are fully validated before go-live.

Working closely with Finance, IT, programme leadership, implementation partners and third-party suppliers, you'll lead testing strategy, governance and execution across multiple programme delivery waves, helping to ensure the successful delivery of critical transformation objectives.

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity of ten months, working flexibly from London, Northampton or remotely, with occasional travel as required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Lead and manage all Oracle testing activities across transformation programmes, including SIT, UAT, end-to-end, regression and data validation testing

Develop and execute Oracle testing strategies, plans, schedules and governance frameworks, ensuring delivery to agreed quality standards and timelines

Manage defect identification, triage and resolution activities, providing clear reporting on quality, risks, issues and deployment readiness

Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, implementation partners and suppliers to ensure effective test planning and execution

Drive testing best practice, business readiness, deployment support and continuous improvement across the programme lifecycle

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Extensive experience leading end-to-end testing delivery across large-scale business transformation or technology programmes
• Proven ability to develop Oracle test strategies, test plans and quality assurance frameworks in complex programme environments
• Strong knowledge of Oracle testing methodologies and software delivery lifecycles across Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery models
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
