Payroll Management Partner - 9 Month FTC

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Payroll Management Partner  for a 9 month fixed term contract, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality payroll processing, across complex payrolls  and query resolution for colleagues and managers across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll ensure compliance, accuracy, and exceptional service, helping to position GXO as a destination employer.

The role is remote with occasional travel to site. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00 or 08:00-16:00. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of £32,000 per annum, , and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

• Provide expert advice and guidance on payroll queries, policies, and systems to managers and colleagues
• Process payroll data accurately and on time, meeting agreed Service Level Agreements
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion
• Monitor and track payroll activities, proactively resolving issues before they impact deadlines
• Support key activities such as end-of-year reporting, pay reviews, and HRIS updates

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

• Strong payroll knowledge and experience managing large, multi-frequency payrolls
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS/Payroll systems
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
