Platform Engineer

We are hiring for GCP Platform Engineer - Banking Experience

Location: Sheffield - Hybrid / 3 days Per week in Office

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating production workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong expertise across core GCP services, with practical experience in one or more of:

Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

Big Query

Cloud Build

Cloud Run

• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and GCP security best practices, including:

IAM architecture

Network security

Logging and monitoring

Workload security

• Strong experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Config Connector, including reusable modules, environment management, policy-driven controls, and automated deployments.
• Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitOps, FluxCD, Helm, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
