Description

🚀 Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! 🚀

Join our team as an Engineering Manager for the Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) department, supporting the design and delivery of cutting-edge SMR nuclear power plants. In this role, you'll coordinate and lead projects across EC&I, overseeing a wide range of systems vital to nuclear safety. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll apply your expertise in project planning and management to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget project delivery. Your mission:

  • Detailed Task Planning: Plan tasks meticulously, accounting for dependencies from other areas.
  • Ensure Work Integration: Foster seamless collaboration across work areas to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Scope Management: Monitor tasks closely and implement protocols to adjust programme scopes as needed.
  • Resource Alignment: Identify resource gaps and assist the Chief Design Engineer (CDE) in crafting resourcing strategies.
  • Budget Development: Help establish and maintain budgets for EC&I programmes.
  • Financial Oversight: Track work pack budgets, forecast, and monitor actual costs versus projections.
  • Risk Monitoring: Manage programme risks, including both threats and opportunities.
  • Contract Staff Management: Oversee and optimize resource allocation for contract staff.
