Print Department Operative (3 x 12 hour shift - Sunday to Tuesday, 36 hours weekly)

The purpose of the role is to support production operations within the Print Department. The operative safely handles printing machinery - Sakurai & INO machines, setups, and administrative support tasks to deliver high-quality transfers and labels while ensuring operational compliance with standard operating procedures.

• This position operates fully on-site at our Harrogate facility.
• Set up and operate production printing equipment according to technical specifications and safety rules.
• Conduct regular quality checks to verify correct formatting, text alignment, and design accuracy.
• Maintain an organized work area, executing standard operating procedures to keep a high level of efficiency.
• Troubleshoot simple machinery or equipment issues and escalate advanced maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist with recording production data, logging material utilization, and organizing product batches for dispatch.
  
  

• Prior experience working within a manufacturing or fast-paced production environment.
• Prior experience using Sakurai / INO print machines is a big plus.
• High attention to detail with an ability to follow specific technical guides and instructions closely.
• Strong team spirit with the willingness to collaborate and adapt to flexible shift cycles.

Skills you need to succeed

• Proficiency in handling machinery operations or digital/rotary printing devices safely.
• Strong written & verbal communication abilities to log parameters accurately.
