We are looking for a RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Engineer to join the Linux Build team. Our engineers are responsible for producing secure, compliant RHEL servers at scale as well as being the technical go-to for the organisation.
You’ll have a good understanding of RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) with the ability to act like a DevOps engineer and understand complex deployment pipelines bringing your automation first mindset.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office. What you’ll be doing
You will assist in the design, implementation and management of complex deployment pipelines while maintaining and enforcing system build and hardening standards in alignment with Nationwide’s Evergreen Strategy.
You will be involved in advancing our Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) capabilities through CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Ansible, AAP and Terraform while applying CIS benchmarks using Ansible Automation, providing technical expertise.
