About the role
Conveyancer / Property Lawyer
Location: Central London
Job Type: Full-Time
Due to continued growth, an established firm with a strong presence across London and the surrounding regions is seeking an experienced Conveyancer / Property Lawyer to join its busy and successful Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and client-focused legal professional with a minimum of 2 years' PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive to join a collaborative and forward-thinking firm.
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters. This will include:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Remortgages and transfers of equity
- First registrations
- Help to Buy and other scheme-related transactions
- Unregistered land transactions
- Auction purchases and sales
- High-value residential property transactions
- Liaising with both lenders and borrowers
You will also be expected to:
- Review and report on title, searches and contract documentation
- Deal with enquiries
- Draft and approve legal documentation
- Ensure compliance with lender requirements and Land Registry procedures
- Advise clients on Building Safety Act (BSA) considerations and other relevant residential property legislation where applicable
- Manage files efficiently from inception to completion with minimal supervision
