Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Manchester. The Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting site visits, preparing and presenting proposals, and managing the sales cycle from initial enquiry to contract agreement. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, collaborating with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate specifications and pricing, and tracking sales activities using CRM tools. The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, participate in networking events as required, and contribute to meeting revenue and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B field sales, account management, or business development, ideally within construction, engineering, or building services.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a focus on consultative selling.
- Ability to interpret technical information, work with specifications, and liaise effectively with engineering and operations teams.
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail in preparing proposals and documentation.
