Our Client is seeking two experienced Section Engineers to support the delivery of a major civil engineering package within a high-profile aviation infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex and technically challenging programme, playing a key role in the delivery of bridge foundations and structural works in a live operational environment.
The Role
As Section Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering civil and structural works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with site teams, designers, and subcontractors, providing technical expertise and engineering leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of structural and civil engineering works.
- Provide technical support and design coordination for structural and cladding packages.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and design information.
- Manage setting out and engineering control activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress, quality, and programme compliance.
- Support project planning, sequencing, and resource management.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation.
- Mentor and support site engineers and junior team members.
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Section Engineer, or a strong Site Engineer ready to progress.
- Experience working on complex civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
