Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity within crisis and urgent care services?
Our friendly and dynamic Home Treatment Team is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care in the community.
You'll work across both the Home Treatment and First Response Services, responding to individuals in acute mental health crisis and providing care and support that helps people remain at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admission.
We recognise that staff wellbeing is essential in delivering compassionate care. You'll be supported by a close-knit and understanding team that values collaboration, respect and professional growth.
This role will involve flexible working across a 24-hour shift rota (days and night shifts) in a 7 day a week service
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a key role within our Urgent Care Pathway, offering rapid response assessments and home treatment as an alternative to hospital admission.

Essential
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registrationSignificant post-registration experience in community mental health services
Desirable
- Evidence of post qualifying professional development in an acute setting

- Experience of working with individuals in mental health crisis, including risk assessment and care planning

- Evidence of post qualifying professional development in an acute setting
- Good knowledge of resources and working practices across health and social care

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with patients, carers and professionals about complex or distressing issues.Ability to travel round Trust area to fulfil the requirements of the roleStrong organisational skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and work independently under pressure.Commitment to high standards of compassionate, recovery-focused care, with a values-driven approach that supports equality, diversity and inclusion.
