Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.

Education and Qualification

Essential

• Registered Nurse level 1
• Current NMC registration
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• V 150, V100 or V300 Non-medical prescriber or willingness to undertake
• Supervisor/Assessor competence

Experience and Knowledge

Essential

• Able to deal with difficult situations
• Ability to Identify and assess patients' needs.
• Ability to use resources appropriately.
• Multidisciplinary working
• Willingness to undertake further training specific to role
• Demonstrate leadership skills & attributes
• Ability to manage complex needs assessments
• Demonstrate an understanding of clinical governance & safety/quality initiatives pertaining to the role
