As Senior Copywriter, you'll play a key role in shaping and evolving Jellycat’s brand voice as part of our growing creative team. Reporting to the Head of Editorial, you'll create and develop compelling written content across Editorial, Marketing, PR, Social, Product and Brand Activations. Working closely with the wider copy team, you'll help deliver storytelling that brings the Jellycat world to life while supporting editorial planning, editing and mentoring junior colleagues. Based in London, this is a fast-paced role with ownership across multiple projects and creative initiatives.
You'll be:
Creating engaging copy across Editorial, Marketing, PR, Social, Product and Brand Activation channels.
Developing content that reflects and strengthens Jellycat’s distinctive brand voice.
Generating creative ideas and storytelling concepts that support wider brand narratives.
Supporting editorial planning and contributing to the management of the editorial calendar.
Proofreading, editing and refining content to ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Collaborating with creative and cross-functional teams on a variety of campaigns and projects.
Mentoring and supporting junior members of the copy team.
Managing multiple priorities and responding effectively to changing business needs.
Contributing fresh ideas and creative perspectives during brainstorming sessions.
Identifying opportunities to improve copy processes and ways of working.
You'll have;
Significant copywriting experience, including experience operating at mid-weight or senior level.
Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
A strong understanding of SEO best practice and digital content principles.
The ability to write for different audiences, channels and objectives. A natural talent for storytelling and a genuine passion for written content.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Confidence working independently while remaining highly collaborative.
The ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
A proactive, curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ideally, a degree in English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
