Role: Sr. Data Engineer
Location: Bournemouth, UK
Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing end-to-end ETL/data ingestion pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
- Experience working with multiple data formats, including CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, Avro, and integrating data from diverse source systems.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks for data transformation, processing, and analytics.
- Experience with Apache Flink for developing and managing both stream and batch data processing workloads.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of data integration best practices and scalable ETL architectures.
- Ability to work with large-scale datasets in distributed data processing environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
