About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure and Network Engineer to support and evolve Reward's infrastructure as we continue our cloud-first and digital transformation journey.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role requiring strong experience across networking, server infrastructure, cloud platforms and infrastructure change. You'll act as a technical lead within the team, taking ownership of projects from design and implementation through to operational support.

We're looking for someone who has delivered infrastructure improvements and migrations in complex environments, not someone whose experience has primarily focused on desktop support.

What Success Looks Like

• Lead and deliver infrastructure projects and technology improvements.
• Support the modernisation of Reward's infrastructure through cloud adoption and automation.
• Act as a senior technical escalation point across infrastructure platforms.
• Improve the reliability, security and performance of core infrastructure services.
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, documentation and operational best practice.
• Lead infrastructure changes from design and planning through implementation, testing and handover.
• Configure and deploy network infrastructure including switches, VLANs, routing, wireless networks and firewalls.
• Deliver infrastructure refreshes, upgrades, migrations and transformation projects.
• Support the ongoing transition towards a cloud-first infrastructure strategy.
• Act as a senior technical lead for complex infrastructure issues and project delivery.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Lead or similar role.
• Experience working within organisations undergoing digital transformation, cloud migration or infrastructure modernisation programmes.
• Strong hands-on networking experience including switch configuration, VLANs, routing, switching and wireless networking.
• Experience implementing infrastructure changes and upgrades within live production environments.
• Proven experience leading infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualised environments.
• Experience with firewall administration, VPNs and network security.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and hybrid infrastructure experience.
• AWS or Azure cloud experience.
• PowerShell or automation skills.
• Monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog).
• PCI-DSS or ISO27001 exposure.
• Relevant infrastructure, cloud or networking certifications.
