The Senior Scientist is responsible for managing medical affairs programs, coordinating data analyses and reporting and communicating scientific results. You will support medical operations, develop educational materials, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements:

roles and responsibilities

• Translate scientific data into actionable insights, analysing need-state science, brand and competitor evidence and emerging trends to inform cross-functional partners and Teams.
• Analyse emerging medical trends with real-world evidence and clinical trial data to influence product lifecycle management, medical strategy, and training programs
• Support innovation and product development, contributing scientific analysis, literature reviews, claims input, and technical assessments to global pipeline and lifecycle projects.
• Enable global evidence generation and medical programs, including expert mapping, insight gathering, data-generation proposals, and dissemination of results via publications and presentations.
• Develop high-quality scientific and educational materials, including training content, clinical summaries, and HCP-focused programs that support global medical communication.
• Prepare technical content for regulatory documentation, contributing to submissions, RFIs, aggregate safety reports, and updates to product information (eg SmPCs).
• Execute medical communication plans, ensuring accurate, evidence-based messaging across internal, HCP, and consumer-facing channels.

how to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or a related scientific or healthcare field.
• 6 or more years of progressive experience in medical affairs or related healthcare roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing medical affairs programs, including safety reporting and data management.
• Excellent understanding of clinical data, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals and internal teams.
• Experience in planning and executing clinical educational activities and medical communications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Capability to maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex clinical data into clear, compelling narratives that influence medical and commercial stakeholders.
• Proven expertise in designing and executing innovative medical education programs and scientific communication strategies.
• Strong analytical mindset, proficient use of digital tools, AI and data analytics to enhance medical insights, program design and decision-making
• With experience leveraging real-world evidence and health economics to inform medical decision-making.
