We are seeking a highly motivated, resilient, and organised individual to join our team in this
extremely challenging and fast-paced role. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a highly pressured environment, coordinating activity across multiple agencies and services, and ensuring that demanding operational targets and deadlines are consistently achieved. The post holder will be expected to manage competing priorities, respond effectively to changing service demands, and maintain high standards of performance while supporting the delivery of safe, timely, and patient-centred discharge pathways.
Main duties of the job
The post holder, as part of the Discharge team will provide management and support to achieving standards laid out by the Welsh Government and has a key role in ensuring Length of stay/ Delayed Pathway of care targets are recorded and met.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven ability to work effectively in an extremely busy and pressured environment.
- Demonstrable experience of managing competing priorities and meeting challenging performance targets.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced operational setting.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
