What You Will Need
- A qualification in an environmental discipline (e.g. diploma or degree) and/or relevant professional experience
- Experience working in an environmental, compliance, governance, auditing, or management systems role
- Knowledge of environmental management systems and ISO 14001 requirements
- Understanding of environmental legislation and regulatory compliance principles
- Knowledge of safety management systems, safety cases, investigations, auditing processes, and document control practices would be beneficial
- Ability to analyse information, prepare reports, and work collaboratively with operational teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels
- Ability to manage priorities, organise your workload, and work independently where appropriate
- Professional memberships and certifications such as IEMA/ISEP membership, NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent experience are desirable but not essential
