We are looking to receive speculative applications in consideration of Protective Services Lead roles that may come to later fruition. The person will be required to implement and govern a new protective services program. The role will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of enhanced security operations to safeguard employees from elevated security threats on a global scale. The lead will ensure that all protective measures align with global standards, identified risks are mitigated in accordance with the client’s risk appetite, and that the program is fully integrated into business operations through cross-functional collaboration. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teams and stakeholders across a large global organisation.
Responsible for the client’s Protective Services program strategy development, business planning, governance, assurance and performance management and cost control. Identify, develop and deliver continuous improvement initiatives in support of global security.
· Collaborate with the client’s intelligence teams to ensure new and emerging threats to the client’s people, assets and reputation are identified, assessed and continuously monitored.
· Responsible for the implementation, leadership and documentation of people-specific risk assessments globally. This includes threat and vulnerability assessments, risk mitigation recommendations, and escalation of non-mitigable high-risk findings.
· Support the Global Head of Security in developing and socialising guidelines and SOPs to implement the new Protective Services programme.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as crisis management and business resilience when physical security incidents have actual or potential impact on core operations, including employee incapacitation, evacuation scenarios, or sustained threat environments
· Ensure that technology and processes supporting the Protective Services programme (e.g., intelligence monitoring, travel risk information, etc.) are operating effectively and efficiently.
· Engage with local management teams and relevant non-security stakeholders (e.g., facilities, HR, legal) to ensure Protective Services are socialised and integrated into core business operations and systems.
· Delegate specific Protective Services tasks, including risk assessments or specific task coordination or oversight, to local security leads while retaining responsibility for the quality, completeness, and alignment of those tasks with the client’s policies and procedures.
· Maintain oversight of all Protective Services tasks conducted globally, ensuring that assessments, planning, and implementation are in accordance with the client policies and procedures.
· Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with the client’s executive management and their support teams, to ensure seamless delivery of protective services.
· Develop and deliver training on the protective services programme to senior stakeholders. Plan and deliver protective services relevant training to selected client employees.
· Ensure that all deployed close protection officers, including internal security staff and third-party providers, hold the necessary training, certification, and licenses to operate lawfully and effectively.
