Job Summary
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–8 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong experience with AWS RDS Aurora MySQL.
- Experience supporting multiple database environments.
- Proven expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with operational management, incident management, and problem analysis.
- Knowledge of account, access, and change management processes.
- Hands-on experience with:
- AWS CloudWatch
- AWS IAM
- AWS KMS
- AWS RDS Administration
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide Technical Guidance By Defining, Advocating, And Implementing Best Practices And Coding Standards In Oracle Development, Ensuring High-Quality Deliverables From The Team.
2. Develop And Mentor Team Members In Oracle-Related Technologies, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Overall Productivity.
3. Ensure Process Compliance Within The Assigned Module By Participating In Technical Discussions And Reviews, Acting As A Consultant For Feasibility Studies, Evaluating Technical Alternatives, And Addressing Technical Risks.
4. Prepare And Submit Comprehensive Status Reports To Minimize Exposure And Risks On The Project, Facilitating The Timely Resolution Of Any Escalations.
Skill Requirements
Database Administration
- Administer, monitor, and maintain AWS RDS Aurora MySQL database environments.
- Ensure database availability, reliability, and performance across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Perform routine database health checks and capacity planning activities.
- Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Other Requirements
