WHO WE WANT:
We are looking for an organised and passionate fashion design student to join our young and evolving team. You must be an excellent team player who is also well experienced working autonomously and as part of a team. The placement offers broad, hands-on exposure to the full fashion design and product development cycle, from initial research and concept development through to technical development, sampling, production, sales and marketing.
THE PLACEMENT
During the placement, you will have the opportunity to:
A key benefit of the placement is that you will not simply see the design process in isolation. You will gain an understanding of the commercial journey of a fashion collection, and how creative decisions are influenced by sales performance, customer feedback, production considerations and market requirements. The placement is intended to support university learning and placement-hour requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Studying a design related degree
· A keen interest in luxury knitwear
· Creative and trend driven with a keen eye for detail, shape and colour
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Organised with good time management, adaptable and proactive in order to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
· Team player and able to adapt and build relationships
· Experience working on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
