About the Role:

The role will involve working as an integral part of the Girls Academy, facilitating the delivery of the performance analysis programme predominantly for the women first team.

The role will require a hard-working individual, who is able to work with a high level of detail and accuracy, whilst being comfortable with operating in a fast-paced, modern environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis programme for the Women's First Team.

  • Work closely with the women first team Head Coach and technical team on shaping, facilitating & delivering the analysis programme.

  • Ensure that games & training are covered effectively.

  • Work as part of a collaborative MDT team.

  • Build relationships with wider MDT staff throughout the academy.

  • Undertake self-development to ensure knowledge in all aspects of your role is up to date & industry leading.

  • Filming of women first team training.

  • Travel to home & away to women first team fixtures to film.

  • Help facilitate the filming of Goalkeeper training.

  • Create & help deliver analysis sessions.

  • Support the creation and implementation of Individual Development Plans.

  • Create a team-orientated stats report for women first team.

  • Help generate individualised metrics from match play for players within the women first team.

  • Build and maintain a library of best practice from games and training.

  • What are we looking for:

    • Previous experience at working at First Team level in an elite sporting environment.

    • Detailed technical and tactical knowledge of football.

    • Postgraduate degree in performance analysis or relevant field.

    • Highly proficient in using Hudl Sportscode & Hudl Studio.

    • Accustomed to leading and delivering analysis sessions to players & staff.

    • Experience filming training and matches with a variety of different equipment.

    • Football Coaching Qualifications (UEFA C License or higher).

    • Previous experience leading an analysis programme (desirable).

    • Experience using SBG Matchtracker (desirable).

    • Experience using Piero (desirable).

    • Accustomed using Tableau, and handling data, to produce team & individual orientated reports (desirable).

    • Experience undertaking longitudinal research projects (desirable).

    • Full UK Driving License (desirable).
