The primary responsibility of the Workshop Master Scheduler is to manage and optimize the workflow of maintenance and new build activities through the workshop. Achieved by ensuring a seamless, efficient, and cost-effective process is followed by thoroughly managing and analyzing workshop forecasts, conducting precise capacity planning, and managing resources accurately. The role requires close collaboration with various Oceaneering departments to align schedules, anticipate and mitigate potential bottlenecks, and ensure that the workshop operates at peak efficiency. By aligning business priorities with strategic resource allocation, the Workshop Master Scheduler plays a crucial role in achieving the organization's operational and financial goals.
REQUIRED
Strong demonstrated critical thinking and logic skills with proven track record of success in a complex production and assembly LEAN environment.
Demonstrable knowledge of the following gained through APM PMQ certification or higher-
project planning
resource planning
risk management
managing stakeholder conflict
Excellent negotiating, communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
Handling of multiple tasks and responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
Finding solutions to facilitate continuous improvement.
Fluency in Primavera P6 and excel to provide prompt accurate and regular information.
Fully conversant with Earned Value and the ability to analyse the performance of the project.
DESIRED
Knowledge of ROV systems and tooling maintenance regimes
Knowledge of 6S and lean principals
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office and PeopleSoft ERP System.
Ability to work with cross-cultural organizations and groups.
