Associate Director – Equity Exotics Trader

We're partnering with a leading international investment bank that is looking to add an experienced Associate Director – Equity Exotics Trader to its growing London Equity Derivatives team.

This is an opportunity to join an established business with a significant Asian franchise and play a key role in the continued expansion of its European Equity Exotics platform. The successful candidate will take ownership of risk across EMEA and US exotic equity derivative books while working closely with Sales, Trading and Quantitative teams on pricing, structuring and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage risk across EMEA and US equity exotics books.
• Price and structure bespoke equity derivatives for institutional clients.
• Partner with Trading and Quantitative teams to enhance pricing models and risk management tools.
• Analyse P&L attribution and identify trading opportunities.
• Monitor market developments and assess their impact on trading strategies.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the Equity Derivatives franchise.

Requirements

• 6+ years' experience trading or risk-managing equity exotic derivatives.
• Strong understanding of equity derivatives, volatility and risk management.
• Experience pricing and managing exotic structures.
• Programming skills (Python and/or other relevant languages).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across Trading, Sales and Quant teams.
