Trade Support Associate

Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking a Trade Support Associate to join its London team.

This is a Front Office-facing role where you'll work closely with Traders and Sales, acting as a key partner in supporting the end-to-end trade lifecycle. You'll play an integral role in ensuring trades are accurately captured, operational risks are effectively managed, and trading activity runs smoothly across multiple asset classes.

Unlike many Trade Support roles that focus on a single product, this opportunity offers exposure to a broad range of asset classes, including Equities, FX, Commodities, Credit, and Rates, making it an excellent opportunity to broaden your markets knowledge and develop within a fast-paced investment banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring trades are accurately booked, validated, and processed.
• Partner directly with Traders and Sales to provide day-to-day support, resolve trade queries, and maintain the highest level of service.
• Manage trade amendments, cancellations, and lifecycle events while ensuring appropriate controls and approvals are followed.
• Perform operational controls, reconciliations, and risk mitigation activities to maintain data integrity and minimise operational risk.
• Work closely with Risk, Product Control, Middle Office, Back Office, Quantitative teams, and Technology to resolve issues and support business initiatives.
• Monitor key portfolio events, including expiries and other post-trade activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Markets Operations, or Investment Banking Operations.
• Strong understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle and financial markets.
