The Role:
The Business Development Executive plays a pivotal role in accelerating market growth, leading new business acquisition across HiA's solutions portfolio. The core focus is prospecting, networking, and converting new opportunities, particularly within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, while also growing our current product line with existing clients.
Success in this role will depend on resilience and persistence to manage long, complex sales cycles, the gravitas to engage senior stakeholders from a first meeting, and a working understanding of L&D and pharma industry dynamics.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with experience identifying and converting prospects into long-term clients.
- A personal network across L&D, commercial, or medical contacts in pharma/healthcare, or a demonstrated ability to build one fast.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the gravitas to engage senior stakeholders from a first meeting.
- Resilience and patience to manage long, complex sales cycles without losing momentum.
- Strong Account Management and Business acumen, including the ability to understand client needs, propose solutions, and nurture ongoing relationships.
- Comfort working in a remote setting, with strong self-management, time management, and proficiency in CRM and standard office software.
London (South East) based, field and client-facing, with a competitive compensation package complemented by an uncapped bonus/commission scheme.
