Help shape the next stage of growth of an ambitious business transformation and change consultancy.
Partners in Change (PiC) is an established and growing consultancy that helps organisations deliver complex business transformation and change, often technology-enabled. Our clients value us for our pragmatic advice, collaborative style, highly experienced consultants, and overall ability to make change happen for them.
We're now looking for an exceptional consulting leader to help shape the next stage of our growth. This is not a traditional sales role.
We're looking for someone who combines strong consulting credibility with the ability to build trusted client relationships, develop compelling propositions and originate new opportunities. You'll be equally comfortable advising senior executives on complex transformation challenges, leading client engagements, and helping to grow and manage our business.
You'll play a central role in leading and developing our sales capability, owning and evolving one or more strategic service propositions, representing PiC in the market, and helping to shape the future direction of the business.
We’re looking for someone with the capability and contacts to help drive growth, the behavioural smarts to fit in whilst bringing something else to our potent culture, and who will relish the opportunity and freedom that comes with working with a small, dynamic, ambitious business.
About the role
As a member of PiC's leadership team, you will:
This is a role for someone who enjoys building businesses as much as delivering excellent client outcomes.
About you
You'll bring a strong combination of commercial instinct and consulting capability.
You are likely to have experience in:
You will have a strong change delivery and / or consulting foundation, including lead roles in complex change and transformation programmes; all of this is likely to have been preceded by a degree. This will have equipped you with the problem solving and diagnostic skills; the stakeholder management and interpersonal capabilities; and the consulting repertoire to enable you to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
You'll also have recognised expertise in one or more areas relevant to our clients, such as digital and technology enabled transformation (including AI), operating model design, business architecture, enterprise change, M&A integration, technology strategy or operational improvement.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy both helping clients solve difficult business problems and colleagues succeed.
Why PiC?
We're large enough to work on significant transformation programmes, but small enough for every senior person to make a genuine difference.
Joining PiC offers the opportunity to:
If you're looking for the freedom to build something, rather than simply manage what's already there, we'd love to hear from you.
What we offer
Base package of £90k-£130k
Additional gainshare offering OTE of £200k+
Participation in growth shares scheme
30 days’ annual leave
Contributory pension
Private health
A highly-rated work culture with great collaboration and support, and a big opportunity for personal development and a strong sense of making a real difference to both our business, and our many clients.
Flexible location – but UK-based.
Our selection process
PiC will run an internally managed process to recruit the Delivery Director. This will be a three-stage process of: CV screening based on fit with role to create a long-list; initial screening interview to create a shortlist, then for short-listed candidates a final interview including some preparatory work and an assessment exercise, supported by completion of a personality survey beforehand.
How to apply?
Preferably via our website: https://picconsulting.bamboohr.com/careers/42?source=aWQ9OQ%3D%3D
Alternatively directly via LinkedIn.
Applications welcome until 14th August.
Final interviews in Manchester during 1st - 4th September 2026.
You are unlikely to be selected if: you do not have a strong record selling consultancy services in the business change space; you have little experience leading and delivering complex change; you are looking for a role that is not predominantly about sales and selling; or, you are not living in the UK and with right to work in the UK.
