Role Description The Electrician role at Aureos is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Glasgow Area. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across energy and transport-related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting project-based installation and commissioning work. The Electrician will interpret technical drawings and documentation, complete accurate records of work, and collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trade professionals on site. The role may involve working in varied environments, responding to urgent issues, and supporting continuous improvement in safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong practical electrical installation and maintenance skills, including experience with wiring, cable routing, and electrical panels.
- Candidates should possess competency in fault-finding, testing, and inspection of electrical systems using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant electrical standards, regulations, and safety practices (e.g., BS 7671 or equivalent), with a strong focus on safe systems of work.
