Description
We are looking for an Intermediate Product Designer to join our team and help us create innovative and user-centric digital solutions for our clients. You will play a key role in contributing to UX research, design, and strategy across multiple projects, from discovery to delivery. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, developers, and other designers to understand the business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
You will also conduct user research, create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems. You will communicate your findings and recommendations to the team and the client, and ensure that the final product meets the user expectations and the project objectives to get the best results from UX practices.

Key Responsibilities
Experience planning and performing user research and testing activities
- Proficiency in UX research methods and tools (e.g. Maze.co, UsabilityHub, SurveyMonkey, etc.)
Able to quickly establish working relationships with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Engineers and QA'sCommercial awareness – You will have experience delivering UX and design artefacts for client projectsPeer review and critique projects throughout design and development for usabilityExperience contributing to inhouse design systems and creating documentationExcellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple projects and prioritising tasksAttention to detail and quality, with a passion for creating user-friendly and engaging digital experiencesA Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design expertise, including user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design

The salary for the role of
Intermediate Product Designer pays
up to £48,000p.a. Falling within our pay banding of £35,000 to £61,000, providing a fantastic opportunity for career progression through CDL's clearly defined career framework (https://progression.cdl.co.uk/).
