Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NDT Technician to join our high-performance team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge motorsport environment, supporting the development, inspection, and integrity of race car components. In this position you will play a key role in ensuring all parts meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform non-destructive testing on new, in-service, and R&D components using, Ultrasonic Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.
Support the preparation and validation of race car components to the highest quality standards.
Maintain accurate and detailed NDT reports in line with company procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal specifications and aerospace-level standards.
Communicate inspection results clearly to engineering, design, and stress teams.
Continuously develop technical skills and maintain up-to-date knowledge of NDT techniques.
Work collaboratively across departments including Quality, Production, R&D, and Race Team.
Uphold health & safety standards at all times.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179/PCN) across key techniques.
Strong expertise in Ultrasonic A-Scan (Phased Array, would be beneficial), Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant & Visual Inspection.
Strong attention to detail, with strict adherence to inspection specifications and reporting standards.
Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of X-Ray and CT Scan techniques is beneficial.
Excellent communicator with a proactive, positive attitude.
To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
Willingness to adapt, travel, and go above and beyond in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Formula One, high-level motorsport, or aerospace highly desirable.
