Job description

The following are the core responsibilities of the Projects & Operations Manager. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels.

• Extensive experience working in the NHS, including either in Primary Care, or with close ties to Primary Care

• Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at Executive Level

Qualifications

Essential

• Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area

Knowledge of project management principles

Evidence working within the NHS

Evidence of continued professional development

Desirable

• Post-graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent
• Project and/or Programme Management Qualification (PRINCE2 or equivalent)
• NHS Leadership Academy Programme

• Basic knowledge of available local health services
• Appreciation of the relationship between NHS Bodies, including GP Practices, Federations, PCNs, ICBs, STPs and NHS England

Camden Health Evolution (CHE) Ltd is a GP Federation that supports the Central Camden Primary Care Network (PCN). The PCN consists of 8 member practices, serving a registered population of approximately 80,000 patients.

All practices within the PCN are members of the CHE GP Federation, sharing its vision, mission, values, and key priorities. The PCN is highly innovative, delivering services with the support of CHE, aimed at improving the quality of care and outcomes for patients.
