Location Remote, UK-based (with the ability to attend meetings in London as required)
Reporting to Picture Desk Manager
Role purpose
The Picture Desk Assistant is responsible for supporting the organisation and maintenance of creative content across the website. In this administrative role, you will work closely with the Picture Desk, Editorial, Hotel Curation, and Creative teams to ensure that product, property and brand content remains accurate, up to date and easily accessible across company platforms and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Actioning content updates across our website.
- Liaise directly with hoteliers to gather and manage property updates, including imagery and key hotel information.
- Organise, tag and maintain assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring content is catalogued effectively.
- Collaborate with the Picture Desk and Editorial teams to ensure content is accurate, consistent and aligned with brand standards.
- Assist the Creative team with ad-hoc content production requests, liaising with external and internal stakeholders, to deliver creative content.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when managing content and assets.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to detect and embed new opportunities for efficiencies across workstreams, including through the use of AI.
- An interest in photography and travel.
Desirable
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Asana.
- Experience working with CMS and/or Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Training will be provided on company-specific systems and processes where required.
