As Secretary to SACRE , your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert support and advice to SACRE.
- Leading and coordinating Religious Education network meetings across Nottinghamshire.
- Revising the Nottinghamshire school's religious education syllabus as required by the Department for Education (DfE).
- A strong educational background, ideally with qualifications in education or religious studies.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education or a religious context.
- Familiarity with statutory requirements related to religious education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Commitment: A passion for promoting educational values and understanding in the community.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to manage changing priorities and demands.
