SOC 2134 (85% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £54,700, and JLR is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
This could also be SOC 2129 (Engineering professionals not elsewhere classified., If the role is more about integration and testing than software development). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
Join JLR as a Senior Vehicle Integration & Test Engineer - ADAS and play a key role in supporting the development of the next generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Working within the Vehicle Fleet Management team, you'll be responsible for building, commissioning, maintaining and supporting a fleet of prototype and development vehicles used to develop, test and validate cutting-edge ADAS technologies. This is a highly visible role where your work will directly enable engineering teams to bring future vehicle programmes to life.
As part of a small, specialist team, you'll collaborate with a wide range of internal engineering functions, test teams and external suppliers to ensure development vehicles, sensors, measurement equipment and vehicle computing systems are available, functioning correctly and ready for use. From vehicle integration and diagnostics to fault investigation and technical support, you'll be at the centre of ensuring engineering assets operate efficiently and effectively throughout the development lifecycle.
This opportunity would suit an experienced automotive, ADAS, vehicle integration, test or validation engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving and working across multiple stakeholders. If you're passionate about vehicle technology and want to contribute to the development of future mobility solutions within one of the world's most iconic automotive brands, we'd love to hear from you.

Not necessarily. JLR holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.
