Senior People & Culture Manager - Publishing
Hybrid 4/1
We're partnering with a well-known media and publishing business to recruit a Senior People & Culture Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner looking for greater autonomy, ownership and variety across the full employee lifecycle.
Part of a wider media group, the company operates very much as its own entity, giving you the freedom to shape the People agenda while benefiting from the support and expertise of the wider group when needed.
This is a organisation with around 50 employees all London based, and the Senior P&C Manager is the standalone HR lead with support from an Administrator and office manager. You will work directly with senior leaders in the business covering but also have a dotted line to a HR Director from the group.
This is a broad, fast-paced generalist role, spanning everything from people operations, employee relations, policies and processes through to high-impact People projects across areas such as culture, values, talent development and employee engagement. It's a business that genuinely values its people, with leaders who see HR as a trusted partner in achieving their commercial ambitions.
About you:
You'll be a confident HR generalist with a solid foundation of experience in ER and UK employment law
You will have a proactive, flexible approach and be comfortable pivoting from having strategic conversations to pulling together a contract.
You'll be a HR ops whizz, and able to hone how they work and use the HR tech to free up time for you to do more business partnering activity
You will have a relaxed, non-traditional, non-process driven approach and be able to win the trust of creative leaders
Ideally from an entrepeneurial creative industry background, and have experienced working in a more scrappy smaller size organisation

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 1136 going rate of £52,900. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
