As a Senior Manager in our Private Sector ServiceNow practice, you will lead the technical architecture and delivery of complex transformation programmes and major workstreams. You will translate business priorities and non-functional requirements into secure, scalable and upgrade-safe platform solutions, while supporting clients to develop pragmatic roadmaps and governance. Working across business, technology and delivery teams, you will provide hands-on architectural leadership, guide key design decisions and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You will also manage and coach architects and engineers, contribute to reusable assets and standards, and support propositions, bids and account development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture of complex ServiceNow programmes or major workstreams, translating business outcomes and non-functional requirements into coherent solution designs.
• Support clients to shape platform roadmaps, architectural principles and key technical decisions aligned with enterprise strategy, security and technology standards.
• Design scalable, resilient and upgrade-safe solutions across ServiceNow workflows, data models, CMDB, integrations and the wider technology landscape.
• Apply and improve architecture governance, design standards, quality gates and technical acceptance criteria across Deloitte, client and third-party delivery teams.
• Evaluate solution options and technical trade-offs, balancing business value, user experience, performance, scalability, maintainability, cost and risk.

Essential skills:

• Substantial experience designing and delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions, including proven experience in technical or solution architecture leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and relevant product areas, with the ability to shape solutions across multiple workflows and modules.
• Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, platform APIs, REST/SOAP web services, integration patterns, data modelling and enterprise integration technologies.
• Experience designing CMDB, configuration management and service-management solutions, supported by a sound understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles.
• Proven ability to contribute to architecture roadmaps and governance, make evidence-based technical decisions and assure secure, scalable, maintainable and upgrade-safe solutions.
• Track record of leading architecture and design reviews, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning multidisciplinary teams around agreed technical outcomes.
• Strong consulting, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to explain complex technical choices to business and technology audiences.
• Experience managing and coaching architects, developers and administrators within Agile, product-centric or modern engineering environments.

Desirable skills:

• ServiceNow architecture or implementation certifications (Certified ServiceNow Implementation Certified Technology Architect or Master Architect) or equivalent.
• ITIL or relevant programme-management certification.
• Experience in operating-model transformation, business change, service transition or managed services.
• Experience developing propositions, thought leadership, bids, commercial estimates or go-to-market activity.
