Warehouse Operative with FLT experience

Pay Rate: £24, 784.50 per annum (Increasing to £27, 124.50 after training)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday to Friday (Must be flexible regarding finish times, as will be required to adjust finish times during busy periods)
Location: Crewe (CW1 6GH)

We're now looking for a Warehouse Operative to play a key role at the centre of our fulfilment operation.

• Key Responsibilities

  • Safely, efficiently, and accurately carry out warehouse tasks to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
  • Collate and check stock for trade and transfer, loading vehicles accurately and in line with procedures.
  • Pack mixed cases for trade customers using brand recognition and brand pack codes, ensuring cases are packed neatly and in the correct configuration.
  • Operate all truck electrics, PPT, pedestrian PPT, reach trucks, and counterbalance FLT's
  • Participate in in-house training as required. Please note, this role includes handling tobacco products.

  This Role Would Suit Candidates Who Have

  • Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative within a logistics or similar environment.
  • A strong understanding of all manual handling procedures.
  • Experience preparing and distributing high-volume orders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively.

Experience of using Fork Lift Trucks (Essential)

MLOP and PPT experience (highly desirable).

MUST be flexible to finish later during busy periods (ESSENTIAL)
