SOC 2494 (85% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £46,000, and TEM-ENERGY LIMITED is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
This could also be SOC 1132 (Marketing, sales and advertising directors, If managing people/budget is the main duty, not hands-on creative work) or SOC 1255 (Managers and directors in the creative industries, If directing creative team and resources is the primary focus). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
📈 Who We Are:
We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair.
Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity.
tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators.
We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale.
In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership.
We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide.
Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems.
At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception.
The Role
We're hiring a Brand & Creative Design Lead to help shape how tem shows up in the world. This is a senior, hands-on creative role sitting within our Brand & Credibility team, working closely with Product and Growth to turn strategy into work that's bold, sharp, and unmistakably tem. You'll report into the Senior Brand Lead and work closely together to build strong brand foundations and multi-channel campaigns that compound on each other for outsized impact. You won't just be setting direction from the sidelines. You'll be in the work daily, building alongside our existing creative team, low ego, high craft, always moving fast without dropping the bar.
In your first 12 months, you might:
Establish a clear creative system for tem's brand, from visual identity to campaign storytelling, that makes our work instantly recognisable.
Ship standout creative across a major launch or campaign that builds real emotional connection with a specific audience.
Take ownership of our tem self-serve creative AI tool, driving adoption across the larger organisation to reduce rote work without sacrificing quality.
Set up metric tracking and reporting for the studio, establishing a baseline for speed of execution and reporting progress against it.
Define what "fast and high quality" looks like for the studio, and put the systems in place to make it repeatable.
Identify and close a skills gap on the team through collaboration, hands-on coaching or targeted training.
Responsibilities
Shape the creative system: Translate our strategy and positioning into a distinctive visual identity, storytelling, and campaigns that make tem culturally relevant and instantly recognisable.
Build with impact: Deliver standout creative across launches, campaigns, web, and product moments that captures attention and builds emotional connection with specific audiences.
Lead an AI-first practice: Use modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, and take ownership of our internal self-serve creative AI tool.
Lead without dictating: Put the systems and standards in place that everyone works to, and remove the blockers that get in the way of great work. You won't be across every project or act as gatekeeper - leadership here means levelling people up, not creative dictatorship.
Maintain high standards: Establish strong creative standards and help everyone produce work that feels bold, coherent, and world-class.
Balance pace and quality: Move fast without sacrificing craft, and bring the same energy to a scrappy project as to a major activation.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Brand, Product, and Growth to make sure creative work drives real business outcomes, from brand awareness to product adoption.

Not necessarily. TEM-ENERGY LIMITED holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.
The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2494 going rate of £46,000. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
