SOC 2131 (75% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £58,200, and Morson Edge (Technology) is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
This could also be SOC 1131 (Financial managers and directors, Banking product ownership with financial services focus could be managerial) or SOC 2133 (IT business analysts, architects and systems designers, Digital product design and architecture elements in the role). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
We are looking to hire a Digital Product Owner to focus on the Online Banking and Security Solutions space. You’ll be accountable for successful delivery, ensuring that product priorities translate into meaningful outcomes for customers and the wider business.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, including Financial Product, Technology, Group, and control functions, to understand business needs, priorities and opportunities and ensure these are effectively reflected in the product roadmap. You’ll oversee a proactive, customer-focused, multi-disciplinary team, working closely with specialists across insights, UX design, technology delivery, Group, security and architecture to develop highly effective digital products through research, ideation and design.
You’ll be responsible for defining and measuring clear success criteria for your digital products, establishing meaningful business outcomes that support the Bank’s wider strategic objectives. You’ll create effective feedback loops to understand the impact of your products and use these insights to continually review, refine and prioritise the backlog, maximising value in line with the overarching product roadmap and business outcomes. You’ll also take responsibility for the seamless delivery of digital products to end users, including appropriate training, communications and supporting literature to encourage successful adoption.
We’re looking for someone who is customer-centric, with a strong focus on end-user experience and outcomes, alongside a strong working knowledge of the Financial Services industry and PSD2 regulations
The role requires someone who can manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, often with competing priorities, while maintaining a clear focus on customer and business outcomes. You’ll have strong awareness of the digital banking ecosystem, keeping up to date with market trends, emerging opportunities and competitor propositions, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
If you’re an experienced Digital Product Owner who understands the complexities of online banking and security, enjoys bringing diverse teams and stakeholders together, and is motivated by creating digital products that deliver genuine value for customers and the business, we’d love to hear from you.

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2131 going rate of £58,200. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
