Terms of use
Last updated: 9 September 2026
These are the terms you agree to by using Hunt UK Visa Sponsors. We have kept them short and skipped the capital letters. If something here strikes you as unfair, tell us at hello@huntukvisasponsors.com.
The site is operated by LOKOSOKO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 17108378), registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, England, IP28 7DE. "We" and "us" mean that company. "You" means you.
The short version
- We are not a recruitment agency and not an immigration adviser. We publish information; the decisions are yours.
- The sponsor data is official but it goes stale. Check the Home Office register before you rely on it.
- Cancel whenever you like. Ask within your first 14 days and you get all your money back.
- Your reviews stay yours. You let us publish them; you can take them down.
- Don't scrape the site or resell the data. Everything else, use it as much as you like.
What this service is
We collect the Home Office register of licensed sponsors, company records from Companies House and other public sources, and job adverts, and we put them in one place so you can search them.
What this service is not
Read this part even if you skip the rest.
We are not a recruitment agency. We do not represent you to employers, we do not submit applications for you, and no employer here has asked us to find them candidates.
We are not immigration advisers, and nothing on this site is legal advice. For your own situation, speak to a solicitor regulated by the SRA or an adviser regulated by the OISC.
A sponsor licence is not a job offer. It means a company can sponsor someone. It does not mean it will sponsor you, or sponsor this role, or that the role is open to visa applicants at all.
We cannot promise the data is current. The register moves constantly and a licence can be suspended or revoked between our updates. Check the official Home Office register before you act on anything here, and certainly before you turn down other work.
Sponsor scores and hiring signals are estimates. They are our reading of public data. Treat them as a starting point for your own research.
Your account
You need to be 16 or over. Keep your sign-in secure, give us details that are true, and tell us if someone else gets into your account.
One account per person. You may not share a paid account or pool one across a team. That is what the Agency and employer plans are for.
Using the site fairly
Please don't:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or use automated tools against it outside our API;
- resell, redistribute or republish our data as a competing product or dataset;
- work around rate limits, paywalls or access controls;
- upload anything unlawful, defamatory, or that is not yours to post;
- attack the site or try to get at other people's accounts or data.
Much of the underlying data comes from public sources under open licences, and you are free to go to those sources directly. What we ask you not to take is the collection we assembled and the work in it.
Reviews and anything else you post
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, publish and display it on the site, and to show extracts elsewhere when we link back. That licence lasts only while the content is published. Take it down and it ends, apart from copies already cached or archived by others, which are outside our control.
When you post, you confirm it is your own honest experience, it is accurate as far as you know, and you are not being paid to post it.
We read every submission before it appears, and we can decline or remove anything. A review only goes up if you consented to publication and we approved it. The employer is named only if you separately allowed that.
If you think something published here about you or your company is wrong or unfair, email hello@huntukvisasponsors.com with a link and what is inaccurate. We will look at it and reply. We take this seriously, because reviews name real employers and getting one wrong has real consequences for them and for us.
We do not check the truth of every review. Opinions in them are the author's, not ours.
Paid plans
Prices are on the membership page and include VAT where it applies. Payment is by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Renewal
Plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price. We will tell you before any price change affecting you.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your account's billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not delete your account when a subscription ends. It reverts to the free tier.
The first 14 days
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. We go a bit further on what you get back: ask within those 14 days and we refund the lot, however much you used, rather than docking you for the days you had.
The 14 days run from the day you subscribe, not from your first payment, and a free trial counts towards them. A trial eats part of the window, so what you have left after your first payment is whatever remains of the 14 days. Nothing is charged during a trial, so cancelling then costs you nothing in any case.
This is on top of your legal rights, not instead of them.
After that we do not usually refund part-periods. If something genuinely went wrong, ask anyway.
Business customers
Employer plans and Agency plans bought by a business are not consumer contracts, so the 14-day right above does not apply to them by law. We will still consider a refund request on its merits.
Free trials
New subscribers on a personal plan get a free trial. It is offered once: if you have subscribed before, or already had a trial through our academic offer, you go straight onto a paid period. Employer plans do not include a trial. During a trial we do not charge you at all, and cancelling before it ends costs nothing. When it ends the plan starts and the first payment is taken. Remember the trial counts towards the 14 days above.
Credits
API credits are included monthly with a paid plan. They reset each month and unused monthly credits do not roll over.
Boost credits work in boost-days. Monthly boost-days reset on the 1st. Purchased top-up boost-days never expire, and are spent only once your monthly allowance is gone. Stopping a boost early returns the unused full days to the balance each came from.
Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts. If you cancel, unused monthly credits go with the plan; purchased boost-days stay on the company's balance.
Employer plans
Employer plans are bought per company, not per user, by someone authorised to act for that company. Claiming a company profile means confirming you have that authority.
A paid employer plan changes how a profile is presented: no ads on it, full data unlocked for visitors, a verified badge, and promoted placement on the Growth plan. It does not change the underlying data. We do not remove or soften accurate information about a company because it pays us. Enforcement records, tribunal decisions and pay gap figures publish the same either way. If that is what you were hoping to buy, save your money.
Ads
The free tier is supported by advertising. We do not control which ads appear and an ad is not an endorsement. Be careful with anyone advertising immigration services. Check they are regulated before you pay them anything.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up and do not promise it always will be. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. If we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, we will refund the unused part.
If you break these terms
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless there is a legal reason not to. If we close a paid account for a serious breach, we do not refund the remaining period. You can close your account at any time by emailing us.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit. If you are a consumer, your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything on this page.
Beyond that: we provide this service with reasonable care, but we do not accept liability for decisions you make based on the data. We are not responsible for a job that turns out not to offer sponsorship, an application to a company whose licence changed, or a role that was filled before you applied. Check the official sources before acting.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose, or £100 if you are on the free tier.
Privacy
How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and for anything that materially affects a paid plan we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, this does not take away the protections of your own country's law, and you may bring proceedings there.
Email us first, though. Most of this turns out to be a misunderstanding, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
