SOC 2135 (75% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £48,500, and Vision Scotland is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
This could also be SOC 2133 (IT business analysts, architects and systems designers, Systems design and administration across the IT estate) or SOC 2132 (IT managers, Mentoring and leading day-to-day security operations). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
Join Our Growing Team as a Senior eHealth Systems Engineer!
Are you looking to become part of a friendly but growing healthcare business providing exceptional care to our patients? Vision Scotland is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior eHealth Systems Engineer who embodies our values to join our growing, dynamic team.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior eHealth Systems Engineer to strengthen the security and reliability of our technology estate, covering cyber security and Microsoft 365 administration. This is a senior, hands-on role reporting to the Head of eHealth. Experience with Salesforce would be an advantage but is not essential.
This is a great opportunity to shape security and systems for a growing multi-clinic healthcare group whilst working in a varied, senior technical role spanning security, infrastructure and platform development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead day-to-day cyber security operations, including monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management across the clinic network.
*Administer and harden the Microsoft 365 environment, including Azure, Entra ID and Intune, to maintain secure identity, device and access management.
*Manage and tune Microsoft Defender across endpoints, email and cloud workloads to protect systems and patient data.
*Support secure rollout of new devices, applications and system changes across all clinic locations.
*Maintain compliance with relevant data protection, information governance and healthcare regulatory requirements.
*Document system configurations and security procedures for the wider eHealth team.
*Provide escalation-level technical support and mentor junior members of the eHealth team.
*Work closely with the Head of eHealth to plan and deliver ongoing system improvements and security roadmaps.
LOCATION: Glasgow or Edinburgh

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2135 going rate of £48,500. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
