To grow our Engineering team in the UK, we are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join us. Working across a wide range of projects, you'll play a key role in delivering some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in the UK. You'll also be supported by senior colleagues in your continued professional development, including progression towards (or beyond) Chartership, with a tailored plan to achieve your career aspirations.
Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Performing a wide variety of geotechnical engineering design activities in accordance with project requirements, including collating and understanding data, modelling and running analyses, preparing calculations and reports, and working with colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality project work
• Undertaking site-scale engineering geological mapping and modelling, writing desk study reports, ground investigation reports and geotechnical design reports, preparing ground investigation specifications, checking technical drawings 
• Planning, supporting and supervising ground investigations
• Undertaking design calculations and technical drawings

On top of that, you: 

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree either in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering (BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc) 
• Should be working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status (MICE or equivalent)
• Should have a sound understanding of CDM Regulations, specifically the designer’s requirements and requirements regarding the design risk assessment process
• Have relevant experience in a geotechnical engineering consultancy or comparable setting, supporting projects from investigation through design
• Display relevant expertise and a consistent focus on technical quality in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering
• Ability and willingness to work in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Should hold a Full UK driving license
