SOC 3534 (80% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £44,700, and IQ EQ MAXCOMPLY LIMITED is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.

This could also be SOC 1131 (Financial managers and directors, Financial managers and directors if finance leadership dominates the role). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.

Strategic tip: apply early

Sponsored roles fill quickly, and the ones that name a salary go quickest. If this one looks right, apply in the first few days rather than saving it for the weekend.

About the role

Are you a charismatic people manager with a background in Credit Control? We have a brand new role based in either London, Luxembourg or Amsterdam, reporting into our regional CFO.

In this role you will lead our Credit Control function across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. This role has been established to provide senior leadership, structure and consistency across the end-to-end credit control process. As a hands-on leadership position, it will be responsible for developing and strengthening the function, building and leading a high-performing team, owning the end-to-end credit control strategy and operating model, and acting as the key representative of Credit Control both internally with senior stakeholders and externally with clients.

What you'll do

  • You'll lead and take end-to-end ownership of the Credit Control function across EMEA, defining strategy, governance, policies, and operating standards while driving consistency and continuous improvement across the region
  • You'll build, develop, and lead a high-performing Credit Control team, providing direction, coaching, performance management, and support to ensure the delivery of business objectives
  • You'll drive the implementation and adoption of an IT-enabled credit control solution across EMEA, ensuring alignment with Group policies, process standardisation, and effective support for ongoing system and process changes
  • You'll act as the senior Credit Control representative, partnering with Finance Leadership, the Regional CFO, client services teams, and clients to manage escalations, resolve complex issues, and embed strong credit control practices across the business
  • You'll improve cash collection performance, working capital, and Lock Up Days by delivering insight-led reporting, managing debtor risk, resolving aged debt, and providing recommendations to enhance financial performance and control.

What we offer

  • Comprehensive remuneration: Motivating financial packages based upon market rates for your role and is proportionate to your qualifications, level of experiences and skills profile
  • Pension Scheme: Generous employer contribution with the ability to allow and increase employee contributions
  • Wellbeing: Additional social benefits such as private health and dental cover, life assurance, discounted gym membership, eye test and corporate GP
  • Flexible working: We recognise the value of working flexibly and is keen to ensure all employees enjoy an excellent work-life blend. As such, we are open to conversations with employees related to setting up flexible working arrangements
  • Support and development: We will ensure you have the right training, tools and development plan to grow and improve your skills every day.
  • You bring previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or collections, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams across multiple countries, shared service environments, or onshore/offshore delivery models
  • You have successfully led process, policy, systems, or transformation initiatives within a credit control function, ideally including the implementation of automated credit control or collections solutions
  • You are a confident and credible communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, build strong client relationships, and effectively manage complex or sensitive debt resolution matters
  • You demonstrate strong commercial and analytical acumen, with experience improving working capital, managing aged and problematic debt, and operating within multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction global environments
  • You combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, supported by excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, advanced MS Office/Excel proficiency, and a professional accountancy or credit management qualification (e.g., ICM, AAT, or equivalent) being advantageous.

About sponsorship for this role

Does this job guarantee visa sponsorship?

Not necessarily. IQ EQ MAXCOMPLY LIMITED holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.

What salary is needed for this role to be eligible?

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 3534 going rate of £44,700. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
