IDAM Architect

Introduction

Wipro is looking for a Senior IDAM Architect to lead the Identity Pillar within a large-scale cyber transformation programme. As the Senior IDAM Architect, you will act as the technical authority for identity and access management capabilities, driving architecture, governance, and implementation across identity services. You will work closely with cyber security, infrastructure, application, and operational teams to deliver secure, scalable, and Zero Trust-aligned identity solutions.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior IDAM Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the architecture and technical strategy for Identity Governance, Directory Services, Authentication, PKI, CIEM, and Identity Lifecycle capabilities.
• Driving discovery, design, governance, and implementation activities across enterprise identity programmes.
• Defining and governing identity architectures aligned to Zero Trust principles and security frameworks.
• Guiding engineering and application teams through identity integrations, onboarding activities, and technical decision-making.
• Supporting governance, compliance, audit, and risk management through effective identity controls and reporting.

Mandatory Skills

You will have a strong understanding of:

• Identity Governance and Administration platforms such as SailPoint or Saviynt.
• Active Directory, Entra ID, directory services, and identity lifecycle management.
• Authentication and federation technologies, including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Role-Based Access Control, Attribute-Based Access Control, and privileged identity management.
• Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Zero Trust identity principles.

Desirable Skills

Ideally, you will be familiar with:

• Public Key Infrastructure and certificate lifecycle management.
• Cloud identity security and Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management.
• Identity threat protection and identity analytics capabilities.
• ServiceNow integration and enterprise workflow automation.
• Hybrid IT and Operational Technology identity environments.
