The London team sits at the core of the firm's investment activity.
About the Role
The firm is looking to hire an Investment Manager to join its London-based deal team. This is a pivotal role for an experienced investment professional who can lead on transaction execution, support portfolio companies post-investment, and contribute to the firm's ongoing origination efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with Partners and Directors across the full investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of transaction execution, including financial modelling, due diligence coordination, structuring and negotiation
- Prepare investment committee papers and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Manage relationships with advisors, lenders, management teams and other deal counterparties
- Support portfolio company value creation initiatives, working closely with management teams post-completion
- Contribute to origination activity, including building and maintaining relationships with intermediaries, advisors and management teams
- Mentor and support junior members of the deal team (Associates/Analysts)
- Conduct market and sector research to identify new investment themes and opportunities
Qualifications
- 5–8 years' relevant experience, with a strong grounding in private equity, M&A, leveraged finance, or transaction services
- Proven track record of leading deal execution from initial screening through to completion
Required Skills
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with strong commercial judgement
Preferred Skills
- Relevant professional qualifications (ACA, CFA) advantageous
