SOC 2440 (85% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £56,500, and Almac Group is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.

This could also be SOC 2127 (Engineering project managers and project engineers, Advert mentions leading engineering and facilities projects across Clinical Services) or SOC 2131 (IT project managers, Advert mentions information technology projects among the portfolio). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.

Who We Are

Almac Group is a global leader in advancing human health. We provide a range of expert services across the drug development lifecycle to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, supporting them in finding treatments for patients.

The Opportunity

As part of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will join a team responsible for delivering a wide range of strategic projects across our global Clinical Services network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and mitigating project risks while driving issue resolution
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and providing regular project updates
  • Reviewing timelines and deliverables to optimise project performance
  • Maintaining project documentation and governance standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement and best practice within the PMO function

  • Joining Almac means becoming part of a fast-paced, growing organisation within a highly regulated industry. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, with excellent opportunities for learning, development and long-term career progression across the Almac Group.

Our approach is simple – we support, develop and reward our people, build fulfilling careers and together we advance human health. More information can be found here; Life at Almac - Almac.

    • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
    • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    About sponsorship for this role

Does this job guarantee visa sponsorship?

Not necessarily. Almac Group holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.

What salary is needed for this role to be eligible?

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2440 going rate of £56,500. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
