SOC 3556 (80% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £55,200, and Sticks'n'Sushi is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
Worth checking: this could also be SOC 3557 (Events managers and organisers, Role leads group dining, private dining and restaurant events sales), which is not on the eligible-occupation list. Ask Sticks'n'Sushi what the duties actually are.
SALES MANAGER
London
At Sticks’n’Sushi we serve high-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of classic and creative sushi along with sticks from the grill. But we're not just in the restaurant business - we're in the business of birthdays, first dates, client wins, celebrations, reunions and memorable nights that people talk about long after the bill has been paid.
That's where you come in. We're looking for a Sales Manager to help turn more of those moments into bookings - and more bookings into long-term relationships. This isn't just about filling tables. It's about spotting the opportunity behind every enquiry, understanding what our guests need, creating the right experience for them and making sure we're maximising the commercial opportunity for the business along the way.
You'll take the lead on group dining, private dining, restaurant events and exclusive hires, while building relationships with the people who bring guests through our doors time and time again - from PA and EA networks to concierge partners, group bookers and repeat guests.
Someone who knows that a great sales conversation doesn't end with a booking. Someone who gets a buzz from turning an enquiry into an experience, an experience into a repeat visit, and a relationship into something that lasts.
Attracting both families and trendsetters, amazing service in beautiful restaurants is driven by our amazing team - our 'Strange Fish'. Fish are like us: we all swim together. But Strange Fish are bold, curious and unapologetically themselves. People with big smiles and small egos. People who think "we" before "I". Sound familiar?
Are you...
