Salary - circa £47,500 per annum plus extensive benefits listed below
Location - Manchester / North West, with approximately 1–2 days per week at the Wigan office
Role Purpose:
This exciting role offers a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to take ownership of the end-to-end production of monthly management accounts and to partner with the business on commercial modelling and pricing, while gaining valuable exposure to senior levels of the business, including the Senior Leadership Team.
The postholder will champion the month-end process, report on monthly KPIs, and take on ad hoc projects, including educating budget holders. As part of a dynamic team, the postholder will help lay the groundwork for future business growth, with a key focus on delivering well-structured and clear reporting.
The postholder will oversee the financial records of EPIC Global Solutions and EPIC Global Solutions PBC (US), ensuring that all accounting books are accurate and that management accounts are presented in a timely manner. The role also includes developing and managing the systems and controls that support these processes.

Skills and Experience
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• A skilled user of a range of finance and banking packages and applications, specifically Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables etc.) to enable rapid data handling.
• Commercial curiosity
• Experience building or maintaining commercial models for pricing, bids or contract profitability.
• A forward-thinking problem solver, able to think quickly and work well under pressure.
• Ability to take a pragmatic approach in a busy, fast-paced workplace.
• Experience working within management accounting, with at least 2 years working at a similar level.
• Experience managing or developing junior finance staff.
• Demonstrably strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise own workload.
• Able to work flexibly.
Based in the wider Manchester / North West area, with an expectation of attending the Wigan office approximately 1–2 days per week. This is not a fully remote role.
