Senior Frontend Engineer – Next.js / React / AI
London / Hybrid
Are you already using AI to fundamentally change the way you build software, rather than simply using Copilot to autocomplete the occasional line of code?
We’re hiring several Senior Frontend Engineers to join our clients small, high-calibre engineering team that is building a brand-new digital platform.
This is an opportunity to work with Next.js, React, TypeScript and modern AI-assisted engineering practices, with genuine ownership of what you build and the ability to ship your work directly into production.
The opportunity
What you'll be working with
The core stack includes:
Experience with Turborepo, CDN/caching strategies, ISR, stale-while-revalidate, micro-frontends or edge composition would also be useful.
What we're looking for
You'll be a strong Senior Frontend Engineer who cares about engineering craft but doesn't need lots of process around you to produce great work.
We're particularly interested in engineers who:
Most importantly, you should already be actively using AI coding tools as part of your development workflow.
Ideally this will include Claude Code, although we're interested in engineers using similar agentic development approaches who can demonstrate how AI has genuinely changed the way they build software.
A different kind of engineering environment
This team is deliberately being kept small.
You'll have the opportunity not only to build the platform but also to influence the engineering patterns, standards and AI tooling used by the wider team.
The interview process reflects that approach. Rather than simply asking you to talk about AI development, there will be a practical session using Claude Code to solve a real engineering problem.
If you're a strong React/Next.js engineer who has embraced agentic development and wants to work somewhere that's building its engineering model around it, this should be a genuinely interesting project.
