Structural Engineer

We're looking for an organised Business Support Administrator to provide administrative support to the business across our key applications, primarily Oracle NetSuite. Working within the Business Systems team, the role will be responsible for managing user access, coordinating support requests, producing support performance reports, and assisting users with day-to-day system queries.

What you'll be doing:

• Creating, amending and removing user accounts in Oracle NetSuite and other business systems in line with approved access requests.
• Producing weekly and monthly support statistics, including case volumes, resolution trends and outstanding issues.
• Raising purchase orders for IT-related software, licences and services, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure orders are processed, delivered and recorded in line with company procurement procedures.
• Attending meetings with external system support providers and internal stakeholders, representing the Business Systems team as required.
• Tracking and monitoring agreed actions arising from meetings, providing updates and ensuring progress is communicated to the Business Systems team and business users.
• Categorising and updating support requests, maintaining the Support Case Register and providing first-line support to users and resolve routine issues where possible.
• Assisting in the preparation and updates of release notes and user guidance documentation.
• Supporting the testing of system changes, enhancements, defect resolutions and software upgrades to ensure successful implementation.
• Working with departmental Super Users to plan, monitor and complete testing within agreed timescales.
• Recording, tracking, and communicating testing results, user feedback and identified defects, ensuring issues are documented and escalated where appropriate.
• Maintaining and updating project plans, ensuring tasks, milestones, risks and progress are accurately recorded and communicated to support the successful delivery of Business Systems initiatives.
  

What experience you'll bring:

• Previous experience in an administrative, business systems or support role.
• Previous experience involving an ERP or business application such as Oracle NetSuite beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
• The ability to manage multiple requests, prioritise workloads and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership and follow issues through to resolution.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal colleagues and external service providers.
• A customer-focused approach, with a genuine interest in improving the experience of system users.
